Achievement and Resilience: Bosworth’s Class of 2024 Delivers Stellar GCSE Results

Year 11 Bosworth Academy students celebrated their GCSE results today with their friends and family. Students achieved a brilliant set of results, placing them in a strong position for the next stage of their lives – with many returning to our Sixth Form at Bosworth Academy.

“I am so proud of the achievements of our year 11 students. We celebrated their results with their parents, carers and friends this morning.

We are delighted with this year’s GCSE results. Our students have shown incredible perseverance and determination, especially in the face of the unique challenges faced over the past few years. Year 11 students had a challenging first two years at Bosworth, frequently having to learn remotely because of COVID. Their excellent outcomes are a testament to their hard work and focused learning.

Our students engaged brilliantly in all aspects of school life. They remained optimistic about what could be achieved and rose to every challenge. They have shown great student agency, embraced creativity, displayed integrity and acted responsibly to effect positive change.

We extend a heartfelt thanks to our dedicated team of Bosworth staff, who have gone above and beyond to support students’ learning and overall development, and to their parents and carers, whose unwavering support has been invaluable. We wish our year 11 students success in the future and look forward to welcoming many of them into our successful Sixth Form next week, where I know they will continue to thrive.”

Simon Brown, Headteacher

“We are so pleased for our Year 11s and proud of their fantastic achievements. As a cohort, they have been an exceptional year group, demonstrating cohesion and excellent character throughout their time with us. This has been shown in the results but also in key events such as our prom, where nearly all of Year 11s attended and behaved impeccably. We are delighted to congratulate each and every one of them on their great outcomes and look forward to seeing where their brilliant attitudes take them.”
