We had a charity Christmas Appeal again this year at Bosworth, aiming to help those less fortunate than us. Tutor groups were set the challenge of gathering as many non-perishable items as they could and the winning groups and individuals were rewarded. We were absolutely thrilled with the amount of items that were collected and altogether they looked really impressive! Open Hands have written to thank all pupils and staff for our donation, saying ‘A very special thank you for the astounding amount of food you collected for us this winter. We appreciate all your time and efforts. Your donations will help us to help a lot of people in need in the city. Thanks for your generosity.’
Open Hands have also sent a video message from their headquarters to thank students personally which has been played out in assemblies this week as part of our celebration assembly. Students’ should be really proud of their achievements and we are really proud that as a school we came together and helped those less fortunate than ourselves at Christmas.
Well done to everyone!
