There have been so many success stories in our Sixth Form once again this year, and we have only been able to share a few of them so far. Students have been sharing their next steps with us, whether this be University, apprenticeships or employment – we are so proud of you all!

Bosworth Academy students achieved higher outcomes than national in all measures at A level. In our Sixth Form there were nearly 500 exam entries. Every single entry was at least a pass, that’s 100% A*-E, higher than the national average of 97.6%. More than 80% of grades were at a C or above. Over a quarter of all grades achieved were a stunning A*/A, once again higher than national, with very nearly 10% of all grades at A*.

Simon Brown, Head of School, stated, “Bosworth students who entered Level 3 BTEC National qualifications mirrored our A level success. Nearly half of all vocational grades achieved were at the prestigious Distinction or Distinction Star level (equivalent to A*/A). Every single grade achieved was at least a Pass with 70% of grades at a Merit level or higher. Our students have brilliantly risen to every challenge and worked tirelessly through these hands-on qualifications, grounded in the world of work.”

Many of our Year 12 students also tasted success yesterday during their first year of study. It was great to see them receiving fantastic AS level results as the majority of them build towards full A level entry.
