Charnwood Arts and Creative Hinckley have announced an exciting new partnership project to celebrate the young artistic talent in our region.
The Leicestershire and Rutland Young Artists Open Exhibition invited entries from any young artist aged between 8 and 19 who lives or works in either of the two counties.

All work was judged by a panel of experts and prizes awarded in three age categories:

• 8 to 11 years
• 12 to 15 years
• 16 to 19 years.

 
A number of students from Bosworth Academy entered the competition and were lucky enough to be shortlisted and displayed in the exhibtion. The work of Shauna Porter, Victoria Ballard,Chloe Bradwell, Layla Hamill, Olivia Lamb, Chloe Szczurek, Lauren Bailey, Indie Conte, Eva Crowson, Saffron Crumbie, and Jess O’Dell.
Special mention goes to Shauna Porter who achieved the runner up award.
