A group of Year 10 and 12 History students, held a video conference with a citizen of Ukraine to discuss issues concerning Crimea and the revolution taking place there at this time. The students found the experience highly informative and inspirational, one quoted “I wish we could have had it with the whole school, I’m sure that they would have found it as interesting as I did”.
Our students used this opportunity to ask questions to Olga Tomash, a proud citizen of Ukraine, during a Skype conference on Friday 14th March. This was both an exciting and educational experience during which students were able to understand the links between Ukraine’s past and present.
